One Response to Singin’ on Sunday: Playing For Change

  1. Refreshing post; as a life-long musician, I know it’s very hard for anyone who loves music to ever mount a hate against much of anything; somehow the joy of singing or playing a musical instrument just quiets the anger and any urge to inflict hurt.

I’m not a Christian, but I did spend years in church – singing; playing the organ and piano, and I can certainly see why the church incorporates music as part of the service – it just soothes the soul; you simply can’t help but smile and feel like you can ‘go another day’ if you’re depressed or weary.

I do wish for a return of the kind of music that inspired me, so it could also encourage my grand-children….

    Thanks, Richard.
